Baked Cauliflower “Steaks”

These Baked Cauliflower “steaks” are delicious, quick and can be paired with almost anything. They taste great in tacos, salads, with rice or just on their own dipped in some spicy “mayo” (vegenaise+siracha).

Cauliflower is rich in vitamin C, vitamin K, folate and vitamin B6. It is also an excellent source of dietary fiber and omega-3 fatty acids. This nutrient dense vegetable requires little preparation and has a cook time under 30 minutes, which is always a great thing.

I seasoned these like I season my potatoes and they were BOMB. You can add more or less seasoning, depending on your preference. You can also season them totally differently depending on how you plan to use them (ie- if you plan to use them for tacos, use taco seasonings etc). You will likely only get 2 or 3 good “steak” slices but there will be florets leftover for you to throw in to bake as well.

In any case, I’m sure you’ll enjoy both the taste and just knowing that you’re filling up on all kinds of vitamins and minerals!
